This beautiful little town is packed with amazing restaurants–think fresh seafood, homemade pasta, wood-fired pizza, and, of course, all the limoncello you can handle. The food is just as unforgettable as the views–and trust me, that’s saying something.

Whether you want a cozy hidden gem or a spot right by the water with incredible views, Sorrento’s restaurant scene does not disappoint. Here’s a list of the best restaurants in Sorrento, in no particular order.

Whether you’re in the mood for fresh seafood right on the water, cozy trattorias tucked away in charming alleyways, or a fancy night out, Sorrento has a little bit of everything. After eating our way through town (tough job, right?), these are the restaurants that stood out the most — and the ones we would absolutely go back to again!

The Best Restaurants in Sorrento, Italy (That You’ll Want to Eat At Twice!)

Bagni Delfino

Bagni Delfino is that perfect “by the sea” dream spot. It’s tucked away right along the waterfront, giving you front-row seats to the sunset while you dive into the freshest seafood you’ve ever had. It’s laid-back, the service is super-friendly, and the views? Unreal. Definitely make a reservation if you can–this place is no secret!

Terrazza Vittoria

If you’re looking for a meal with a view, it doesn’t get much better than Terrazza Vittoria. Sitting on top of Hotel Continental, this rooftop restaurant has incredible sweeping views of the Bay of Naples. It’s a little more upscale, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or celebration. The food is beautiful (and delicious–especially the seafood risotto. Bonus points for the vibe at sunset!

L’Antica Trattoria

Located in the heart of the Piazza Tasso, L’Antica Trattoria feels like dining in a secret garden. The patio is full of greenery, lights and so much charm. This spot is known for its traditional Italian dishes with a bit of a fancy twist. Try the lemon risotto (Sorrento is famous for its lemons!)–it’s creamy, zesty and delicious! We were even treated to a serenade by the famous Sorrento fiddler! Be sure to make reservations in advance.

O’Parrucchiano La Favorita

If you’re looking for a postcard setting, this restaurant is the total Sorrento vibe. O’Parrucchiano La Favorita is one of the most popular restaurants in Sorrento, famous for its gorgeous lemon garden. What gives more of a Sorrento vibe than dining under a canopy of lemon trees? The atmosphere is dreamy and food is delicious. It’s one of those iconic Sorrento spots you just have to experience at least once. Be sure to make reservations, as this restaurant is on most visitor’s lists, too!

Trattoria Dei Mori

If you’re looking for something less touristy and more local, Trattoria Dei Mori is it. This family-run restaurant serves up traditional Italian dishes at great prices. It’s casual, friendly, and feels like you’re having dinner at someone’s house (in the best way).

Foreigners Club

Don’t let the name fool you–the Foreigners Club is a super relaxed spot with great food and even better views. It’s a perfect casual lunch or early dinner stop, especially if you want something easy but still amazing. We loved their pizzas and pasta dishes. Plus, you can sip an Aperol Spritz while looking out over the water–can’t beat that!

Il Buco

If you’re looking for a splurge night–Il Buco is a great choice. This Michelin-starred restaurant offers a tasting menu that is absolutely worth it if you want to treat yourself. Everything is beautifully presented and crazy delicious. It’s located in an old wine cellar, so the atmosphere is cozy and a little fancy without feeling stuffy.

Donna Sofia

If you love old school Italian movies, Donna Sofia restaurant will be right up your alley! This restaurant is a tribute to Sophia Loren and feels a little like stepping into a vintage movie set. The homemade pasta and friendly service made it one of our favorite dinners in Sorrento.

Sorrento really knows how to do food right–whether you’re looking for a casual lunch by the water or a fancy dinner under lemon trees and twinkling lights. No matter where you go, you’re probably going to eat some of the best meals of your life here.
